Timberline Knolls (TK) is nationally respected as a residential treatment center for eating disorders, including bulimia, binge eating disorder, and anorexia nervosa. Our tranquil, wooded 43-acre campus and caring team of experts offer a spiritually nurturing environment of recovery for women and girls ages 12 to 65+.
Residential treatment at Timberline Knolls is holistic and individualized. We help each woman to strengthen herself from within by addressing 5 core aspects of the self:
- Mind
- Body
- Spirit
- Emotions
- Family and social relationships
Each woman takes ownership of her treatment and recovery, and chooses elective elements of her program such as:
- Art therapy
- Equine therapy
- Yoga therapy
- Dance / movement therapy
Women may also request to follow a Christian treatment path.
The campus of Timberline Knolls Residential Treatment center includes a state-approved school that allows young women to earn academic credit that will appear on their transcript from their home school.
Our integrated treatment approach is beneficial not only for women seeking to overcome eating disorders, but also for those suffering with alcohol and drug addiction, PTSD or trauma, mood disorders, and other co-occurring disorders. Past TK residents with binge eating disorder have told us that the diversity of women on our lodges creates an inclusive environment where they feel comfortable sharing their feelings and seeking support from others.
