Trisha Souders Rubin, L.C.S.W.
Founder,
Growth and Recovery Center

Souders Rubin has served the Metropolitan Washington D.C. area since 1990. Although she primarily treats eating disorder and obesity problems, she has also built a general practice treating a host of mental health issues including anxiety and depression through individual, couples, and group therapy.

Her career as a psychotherapist began at Georgetown University Medical Center’s Eating Disorder and Obesity Program in 1989. There she held a post graduate fellowship and later became a tenured faculty member. In 1996 Trisha left Georgetown University to begin The Washington Center for Eating Disorders and Obesity in Fairfax, VA. In the year 2000 the center was renamed the Growth and Recovery Center. Souders Rubin has offices in both Fairfax, VA and Potomac, MD.
