Ramona G. Seidel, MD

Bay Crossing Family Medicine

Dr. Seidel is a board-certified family physician and a fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians.

Dr. Seidel received her undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame in Indiana and her medical degree from UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. In 1989, she headed to the west coast for family medicine residency training at UCSD in San Diego, CA. Shortly after finishing training in 1992, Dr. Seidel spent one year traveling for “locum tenens” work. She then settled into a practice in northern San Diego County, where she cared for a largely Latino population. In 1998, the U.S. Navy moved her family back east to Maryland.

From 1999-2005, Dr. Seidel ran the family practice division of a pediatric group practice in the greater Annapolis area. Believing that her patients are entitled to a personalized approach to health care in an unrushed setting, she opened Bay Crossing Family Medicine in November 2005.  This practice has allowed Dr. Seidel to pursue some of her special interests: cross-cultural medicine, child and adolescent medicine, and weight management issues.
